Hey everyone, it’s Sensei again. I haven’t posted here in quite awhile, but I just turned 45 the other day and had a friend reminisce that he used to read my blog when he was a med student.

I had completely forgotten about this thing, but every year I just keep hitting the button that renews my site and keeps things online… mostly just so my kids have something to read someday.

That said, I’m going to make a concerted effort to post again. I’ve actually learned a lot in the last year or so after moving back to California and I think I have some interesting things to share. So for those of you who still check here once in awhile, look forward to it.

That said, I’ll leave you with my “Hot Take” of 2026.

I don’t agree with The White Coat Investor… at least not completely.

You are right, and I agree with you.

That said, his path was not the same one I could walk and thus I don’t agree with him completely. We’ll get into this more later.
