Hey guys, it’s Whatever Wednesdays again and I’m here with some more Quick Gift Ideas for Xmas.
FIDELO Carbon Fiber Minimalist Wallet
I’ve been a wallet minimalist since college. I’ve been using the J.Crew Magic Wallet for about 20 years now and I’ve been through about 3 of them in that time frame. When I bought them I think they were around $20, however, that may have changed.
Anyways, I was looking into trying a new minimalist wallet, and this one kept coming up. For basically $20, it might be worth a try if you or someone you know needs a minimalist wallet.
L.O.L. Surprise! Pets Series 4 (2 Pack)
Although I’m not -that- into this LOL Surprise stuff. I think this is a pretty decent value for $20. You get two different pet surprises, and the animals are pretty cute. However, be warned, these things are small.
LEGO 75954 Harry Potter Hogwarts Great Hall Building Kit
This is kind of a +/- pick. In terms of general LEGO value I don’t think this is that good, unless you can find it on sale. However, if you have a Harry Potter fanatic in your household then I think it’s a well done set and makes a nice display piece. However, in terms of actual play value, it isn’t that great. So, I only really recommend this for the Harry Potter fanatic in your household.
Hot Wheels 20 Cars Gift Pack
Pretty hard to go wrong with 20 random die-cast Hot Wheels cars for $20.
Or if 20 isn’t enough, you can go for:
Hot Wheels Basic Car 50-Pack
Currently, this is on sale for $39.97, which is cheaper than $1 a car of the above 20 pack. So something to consider. However, be warned, 50 cars is a lot of cars to give to your little one at once and he/she may lose half of them in a short amount of time.
Whichever Hot Wheels set you decide to get, consider adding this:
Hot Wheels Race Case Track Set
When I was a kid having the ability to launch your cars and race them against each other was a lot of fun. However, building your own track may be too difficult for your young one. I think this is the perfect set to get them started with launching cars on a flat surface, or even on the rug to see them go fast. Later on, if they are interested, you can add on track parts or move on to the more complex tracks like:
Hot Wheels Criss Cross Crash Track Set (Amazon Exclusive)
Out of all the tracks, this one seems to get the best overall reviews. It combines two things that kids really like, high speed and crashes. I have seen some complaints about the track not fitting together properly. However, I think it may have to do with people not lining up the track correctly or not using the correct track in the correct place. That said, since I don’t own this set, I can’t comment on it directly.
TL;DR
Just more quick gift ideas for Xmas.
Check ’em out.
